Dear Listeners,

A few years ago my friend Kenneth Pattengale- of the Milk Carton Kids- sent me an advance copy of an album he had produced for Willie Watson. I had been a fan of Willie’s since the Old Crow Medicine Show days. The second song on the album, “Real Love”, stopped me dead in my tracks. It had been years since I had heard a song so transfixing, strangely familiar and, in my opinion, perfect. I’ve listened to the song a hundred times now- could probably sit down and play it from memory if I had to!

All this is to say, when the opportunity presented itself to do a tour with Willie this fall I jumped at it. There’s no telling if we will do more shows beyond these, so if we’re coming to your town you should pick up some tickets. And if we’re coming even close to your town, might I suggest a road-trip?
